We tried and failed to see Star Trek twice, so today we spent lots of money instead. I bought a dark lipstain, which will only be used on rare occasions when I'll not feel too self-conscious to pull off bold lips.
And then we went to the Record Exchange, WHERE WE BOUGHT ALL THE BRYAN FERRY except for one album we already owned and a cover album (I really don't want to hear Ferry's version of "Sympathy for the Devil", thx). I hope they get more Ferry so I can own more than 4 albums and one single. (Another Time, Another Place, Bride Stripped Bare, Bete Noire, and Boys and Girls; and "Slave to Love", if you're keeping score.) We also bought Men at Work (the one with "Who Can it Be Now?" and "Down Under"), Blondie, and BIG COUNTRY, which I am really excited about. Also bought Notorious and the first Duran Duran. I want to marry the cover for Notorious
Look at Nick. Isn't he hot? And lol at Simon lurking in the background. My mom had that haircut back then. Not even joking. And my love for John is so great. Love his big mouth and srs bsns mullet.
