Lyn-Z, man. Words are somehow unnecessary
So I've spent the evening (when I should be packing OMG!) trawling journals. Picspams, man, they're just too good. Anyway, I stumbled across a conversation in mcee's journal about how unbelievably uncool Gerard is:
AND I TOTALLY THINK LYNZ LOVED HIS DRAGON DRAWINGS. And he practically proposed to her right then when she was like "Yeah dragons are fucking awesome. I have a dragon t-shirt." and he's all "i have a wolf t-shirt." and she went "You know what'd be the coolest? A t-shirt with a dragon AND a wolf."
I love imagining how immensely awkward Gerard would be around a hot girl. Especially a hot girl that has taken an interest in him.
He goes into 0_0 self-destruct mode and starts talking about really unappealing things like Mikey's toenails and the smell inside the bus, and Lyn-Z's all "I CAN BEAT THAT, YO." and Gerard whimpers because it's like he won the lottery but there's also this feeling inside his belly like a small animal is burrowing in it.
And a beautiful thing happened. I went from sort of casually thinking that Lyn-Z is hot (but totally a girl!Frank, yo) to actively wanting MCR het. HOW OFTEN DOES THAT HAPPEN I ASK OF YOU. NOT OFTEN AT ALL, MY FRIENDS, NOT OFTEN AT ALL.
Usually, I prefer to think of the girlfriends/wives as... removed from the picture. Not because I don't like them, but because I don't like to think of the boys cheating and making their ladies unhappy. And I totally want them to be happy, just not... with Frank and Gerard, or whoever I might be reading about. It's just easier for me to actually believe in it if I don't have to stare Jamia in the face an entire fic, you know?
So anyway, which one of you adorable, lovely people can point me the way of some Lyn-Z/Gerard non-angsty het?
