Okay, I feel like I'm totally missing out on something. Will somebody please tell me what is going on with the Open Happiness video? All I know is that Brendon is in it, and there are a couple of .gifs and screencaps of the scruff floating around, but other than that I'm a big question mark every time that shows up ( Read more... )

just go to http://hf3.coca-cola.com/ (wait for it to load which takes foreeeever), click "theatre" and scroll until you see the icon that says "open happiness single" when you hover over it.

Hey, thanks! And I'm sorry, but I gotta confess, my first thought was, "fucking sellouts". Albeit fondly! Still very fondly. Cute song, though. And I swear I saw that in the theatre when I went to see Watchmen.

It's for the new Coca Cola campaign Brendon, PStump, Travie, Janelle Monae, and Cee-Lo have participated in called Open Happiness! The song is really cute.

Thank you for asking this question for me! I've been meaning to get around to it, because I've been in the dark too. (And I'm sort of with you on the Coca-Cola thing. I mean...why? Was it really necessary?)

Nice song and all, but I think. I dunno. Maybe it's the connotations I have with Coca-Cola, which, while being delicious and all, is kind of the mark of materialism, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, I do get that. It's like going out and helping write a jingle for McDonald's - I wouldn't start pointing fingers and saying "Sell-out!" or anything, but I do think there are better things to be doing silly songs for.

I'm no help I just felt like mentioning how much I love your moodtheme. That's my favorite video and I absolutely love his hair like that, I have no idea why.
