I'm really confused

Okay, I feel like I'm totally missing out on something. Will somebody please tell me what is going on with the Open Happiness video? All I know is that Brendon is in it, and there are a couple of .gifs and screencaps of the scruff floating around, but other than that I'm a big question mark every time that shows up.

Anybody care to fill me in? Because I feel totally out of the loop here.
