So I've been looking through my LJ a little bit today, cringed at old entries and laughed at my own innocence. And then I found this.
June 12th 2007 (four months almost to the day before I read my first bandom fic):
Me and my cousin spent last night watching MTV and VH1 and being quietly boggled at the videos. I think we saw Thnks Fr Th Mmrs with Fall Out Boy at least three or four times, and was there ever a video that made no sense it should be that one. I love the song, I really do, I'm an FOB girl through and through, but... has there been one video from this album or the former where Pete Wentz doesn't look pouty, sullen and Emo? And what the fuck was up with the chimps?
Pete, I love you dearly, and your lyrics are wonderful, but I know you've got a great smile so why won't you USE IT?
Needless to say I had not actually seen the Dance, Dance video at this point. Also, for further reference, the entry is called, "He does look a bit like a sullen teenager, doesn't he? How old is the man?"
