Passing the buck
Lately Payroll/user set up etc has been bugging me, so many different people are involved, and it seems I always get in touch with the wrong ones, and the system is really bad, which makes for an even unhappier Ch. Yesterday, I was quite verbal in our Payroll Conference call, I am not the only one going through this, the other sites are too, and nothing gets sorted because everyone is passing this on. It sucks... So I spoke up, normally I say nothing, but not this time - I think my bosses are feeling proud that I have grown more of a backbone over time.
I am much happier today though, was getting agitated over the phone yesterday to our many problems, none of them staff related - they are all sweet. Just systems etc.
Anyway, have been given my free cheese for the week - Pams Tasty - x2 500g packs. nice...
Had about an hour for lunch today (normally only half), with the staff - one of the guys asked me if I ever wanted kids. I was like "yeah." He volunteered, I think as a joke?? and another worker said his wife was away for the weekend with the kids, and wanted me to go home with him and cook for the weekend. lol, whatever....we were all laughing in the lunch room, munching on potato chips, I know they were just kidding...well I hope so....because I am doing neither of the above.
I have eaten very well today - had a choc chip cookie, and a choc gingerbread man, plus a salad sandwich for lunch. All good, oh and those potato chips, lol.
