Reaction: Reactable
So the Microsoft people were supposed to contact me within 48 hours with some details. They didn't. But that may have been due to the holiday weekend.
Luckily, I received and email at 2am last night reaffirming the job offers. Thank God! I was sincerely getting a little nervous.
I still don't have have all the details yet, but it looks like it's definitely going to happen... I'm like 99% sure I'm going to accept one of the jobs. I'd say there's about a 75% chance that I would accept the full time job offer (I'm really just waiting on salary info)...
As soon as I know exactly what's happening, I'll be sure to post the info on here.
In unrelated news... I find it amazing that - regardless of how connected with tech culture I consider myself - I still miss the occasional internet/tech phenomenon. It was an article in this months Rolling Stone which directed me to this video of this INCREDIBLE instrument call the Reactable. If you guys haven't seen this thing, I'll provide both videos here. The first is just a demo of the machine's abilities (which has over 1 million views on YouTube) and the second is Bjork live at Coachella using the actual machine. Apparently only like 3 of these suckers currently exist, one of which was made especially for her after she viewed the YouTube demo video. Enjoy....
