(no subject)
So nothing is official... nothing is in writing at the moment... and I don't want to jump the gun and celebrate just yet...
But...
I've been offered a job working with Microsoft.
In the next 48 hours I'm supposed to be contacted with a couple of formal proposals. One would offer me part-time work with an hourly salary. The other is be a full time salaried position that also involves traveling (score!). It seems like they're very interested in having me for the full time position, even though I will probably have the choice of either full or part-time.
Best of all... I'm interested in the work (I'd be a Software Specialist... likely for the new Microsoft products that run on Mac's new Intel chips)... and the money... well... looks like it could be more than I ever made making drinks or waiting tables. When he asked me about how much I expected to earn... he laughed at the number I gave him and told me that it was definitely more.

I'll keep ya updated as news comes in. I'm really excited and I hope everything follows through as planned. If the price is right - and I think it might be - I may have a REAL full time job.
