So today we went to the Wags and Whiskers Adoption Event in front of the Woodinville Petsmart. There were so many dogs there, I had no idea that it was going to be so large. It's snowing, on the weekend, which makes me happy because I can actually go out and enjoy it. Plus I don't have to try to drive anywhere in it until Tuesday. Ryan and my plans fell through today so we went to Salmon Days. While there we checked out the kittens that my cousin saw yesterday. They were exactly what I'd want for when I get another cat. Our neighbors next door recently got these kittens. They are super friendly and smart. They are really outdoor savvy and can climb like anything and everything. Their colors are really neat too. They are obviously from the same litter but they looks so different. I've nicknamed them Ivory, Ebony, and Smoke. Here are some pictures of them:

Well on Sunday Ryan and I went on a day hike hoping that the weather would not be too bad. It absolutely poured and we heard thunder twice. My lower half got completely soaked which resulted in me changing my pants in the parking lot in an attempt to not become overly chilled. The hike was pretty though even in the steady rain. After work on Saturday, Ryan and I headed into the mountains to go backpacking. We had planned to camp at Cutthroat Lakes but the six mile road to the trail head was closed and we didn't have time to add that extra distance to our hike.
