Utter Madness
Dale & Brian are here, who I love like brothers. They are so wonderful. Don't forget to come over to our house tonight to hang out with them.

So, last night the boys were off doing something and Ang & I were just getting ready to collapse exhausted into bed at 10:00 when the phone rang. It was a hysterical Tynesha, all I could get out of her was that she was at the bus station in SC. I went to pick her up of course. She came to SC to get something and missed the last bus back to her school in San Jose. It was already after her lockout time, so she & her boyfriend spent the night on the air mattress in the front room because D&B have the rumpus room. FULL HOUSE!!!
Honestly, I don't know how you people with kids do it. My job as mentor is not to give her grief - she already felt bad enough and her school will kick her ass anyway. It was just to give her a safe place to spend the night and give her lots of hugs. Jeezus, she's a teenager, it's practically their job to fuck up! But she was soooo not into telling her mom or grandma about it. I know if I were one of them I'd have torn her a new one, too.
Man, I do NOT miss being 18. It was pretty damn funny trying to get Tyne and Rex up at 6:30 am. I simply pointed out that I had to work an 8-hour day, walk for an hour and a half, then host a party and I was 3 times their age. That worked.
Anyway, moms....if your kids need a place to crash late at night and don't want you to know about it, you never will, but I will keep them safe for you. (best for all concerned, don't you think?)
And on Friday when the boys leave I'm off to Vegas for the weekend. As I said to Ang this morning, I'll sleep when I'm dead.
