I went to a baseball game last night, and let me tell you, there was no one there doing the tomahawk chop. It was a Yankees game. We had bleacher seats which was fun cause those are filled with the most spirited people. The problem with baseball games for me is that I do not like baseball. The first inning was good cause the Yankees were great, but it just gets pretty boring after that. But it was cool to get on the subway on the way home with tons of other people that were just coming back from the Yankees game too. People are a lot nicer to each other when they all know that they share some sort of common bond. I guess it was weird to be on a subway where people were asking us what stop we needed to get off at and then nicely moved out of our way and stuff.
After the game was a lot of fun too cause there was the coolest marathon ever going on at the lawn at barnard. I can not believe that more people did not show up to the amazing Pete and Pete Marathon. I had forgotten about that show; the two brothers both named pete but 4 years apart, the mom with a plate in her head, the history teacher with a road map of iowa for veins in her leg, the very strange guy in the tight red pants. what a great show!
I would update more but i just woke up and am waiting for my coffee to finish brewing so my brain is not working quite yet. I have a lot of work to do this weekend; including my first essay for college. I think I know what i am going to write about, I just have to organize my ideas.
Things you should all look forward to hearing about in the future: - The job I have is going to allow me to get some pretty awesome free tickets to a show. Right now I am thinking that I want Avenue Q so that will be very fun. - In just a couple of weeks I will be going on a dinner cruise around manhattan. exciting right?
- Fall is coming up (i actually slept underneath my covers last night) and I think I am going to love it. Pretty leaves and the cool weather. Yay! - In a few weeks ben and jen and daniel and kendra are going to visit me.
I should read or something. Bye!
