Have I mentioned how much i love college? I think maybe i have.
Things I love about college:
1) having fabulous friends that will come and distract me from homework (both far away friends that call me and my wonderful new friends here)
2) taking really interesting classes like sociology and psychology. There is a lot of work and a lot of reading, but I love it. The reading is really interesting. My actual sociology lecture is not that great because my professor won't really listen to opinions that are not hers, but the reading is fun (takes a lot of time). And my psych class is just great. I get to do fun experiments which leads to number...
3) Having an excuse to walk around campus and stare at people just to see what they do
4) Being able to go to times square whenever I want lots of lights and then being able to go on a roof when i want to escape the world.
5) Not getting much sleep, but not really caring.
6) Working just 6 hours a week, selling discount movie and broadway show tickets, meaning that I know all about the cheap tickets available!
7) Getting to perform Nutcracked at a real theatre in NYC choreographed by a real modern company my very first year of college.
8) Finding flowers in my room.
9) Going to McIntosh to drink coffee and read or be on my computer
10) Reading on Lehman lawn on a sunday afternoon
11) Making chocolate chip waffles for brunch after a late night
12) Talking and giggling with my roommates
13) Riding a giant faris wheel at Toys 'R' Us in Times Square
14) Going to see a movie on what just so happens to be opening night when the director is there to take a picture of his first paying audience and talk to us about his movie.
15) Being able to call NYC my home
16) but also being able to say that I am a true southerner.
17) Making and eating jello
18) Drinking entire quarts of milk directly from the carton
19) Getting packages from home
20) working on my fabulous lap desk that Mckenzie made for me
And so many more things, but i am too tired and need to go to bed.
