"All this stuff in the papers about certain states wanting to implement a ban on gay marriage is really depressing and frightening me. Why on earth are some people just hell bent on breeding intolerance and hostility?
What skin is it off their nose if two people who love one another, commit to one another under the eyes of the law and their GOD of choice? Why do certain individuals wish to rob gay people of this privilege and instead are hell bent on trying to drive them underground,as if the gay community should be ashamed of their love for other human beings? Have we learned NOTHING since 9/11 about intolerance, ignorance and hatred and how those particular traits slowly corrupt humanity? " Shirley Manson is my hero. I love her SO much. How can someone NOT agree with that? ::cheers::
Today was the most awesome day ever!!! I LOVE Wednesdays. LOVE. We watched The Wizard of Oz in creative writing, and band was good, and then speeches and then we got to GO OUTSIDE in public speaking, then went over to Yich's, wore each other out. and then I WENT TO SWING DANCING! That's right, swing dancing classes started again. Unfortunately it isnt Kim and Jesse, which made me sad cause I loved them, but the new people are cool. They're taking it super slow cause a lot of the people in our class have no sense of rhythm or anything, or they just suck at dancing in general, so I got a bit bored, and then they taught us the Charleston which Porter and I already knew so afterwards we danced a bit and tried to figure out all the things we should have remembered. Think we might take the class from Jesse and Kim again somewhere else 'cept you have to pay. Will still take the Breakthrough Arts class, though, because they're doing different styles and it's always good and fun to dance more. MORE MORE MORE! I'm crazy.
