The TV Emmy Nominations are in.

Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton from Friday Night Lights were finally recognized with nominations. Well Goodness, what happened there? How long do we wait until some people from Justified are recognized?

Look at the list of nominations. For as many nominations that they have : Best Cinematography for  A Half Hour Show, An Hour Show, A Reality Show, A News Show, A Flower Show, A Mini Series, A Courtroom Drama, and An Underwater Show (and I appreciate and notice cinematography, but really, this many nominations?), they never change what people or shows are nominated.

Best Drama: True Blood? Really True Blood? I watch that show and it was considered a best drama over Justified?  Is biting naked people more artistic than pulling a gun on a clothed person?

And Lost? OK, I only watched the last season of Lost, but what was it? Just a soap opera on a tropical island. It was Gilligan's Island for the new Millennia and Kate was Mary Ann. I think that the dog was Ginger.

Best Comedy Actor: Matthew Morrison for Glee? OK, I admit that did make me laugh. I have seen a few episodes of Glee and that was all I could take. I am actually an aficionado of Musical Comedy done right. Glee has some talented people, but I exclude the writers and Mr. Morrison is not the Best of the talented people on that show.

Best Supporting Comedy Actor: No room for Simon Helberg, who has the best timing that I've seen since that bald guy on Little Britain?

Best Drama Actor: Matthew Fox in Lost. I liked Jack on Lost. I didn't understand why other viewers didn't, but then I didn't see him in the show for five or six years. Mr. Fox is good, watch him in Smokin' Aces sometime. The very good looking Mr. Fox is barely recognizable by his features or his mannerisms in that movie. But why was he nominated for Lost? Because he was a very like-able guy? Is he not like-able in Real Life? Is he Charlie Sheen in Real Life?

Best Variety, Musical, or Comedy Series: Isn't this were Glee should go? If you HAD to put it SOMEWHERE? I guess that some other people agree with me about Musical Comedy and Glee NOT BEING IT. Ok, I get it. This is like the Matthew Morrison Joke earlier.

Best Reality Program: There is NO REALITY on TV. This must be some mind fuck. STop IT!

BEST HOST FOR A REALITY OR REALITY-COMPETITION PROGRAM: They give out HOST awards? No HOSTESS awards? Sexist Bastards and Bitches! Note how I am NOT A SEXIST!

Best Guest Actor, Actress, Extras in Some Show: Now you not only get rated on your Hosting/Hostessing abilities, you get rated on your Guesting abilities? And what might those be? Didn't break any of the Host's props. Didn't interfere with the Host's Diva Behavior? Said "Nice Things in Print PR" about the Host and didn't mention the Drug Dealer once? Wrote a really nice Thank you Note and sent the Host a Pack of White Russian in a Tin as a Hostess Gift? Never mentioned the Host's overpowering smell? Was invited Back?

Best Casting for a Drama, Comedy, Reality Show: Oh I see. CASTING! Wink, wink, Nudge, nudge, Say No More! Do the winners thank their couches and Jesus?

BEST SOUND MIXING FOR A MINISERIES OR MOVIE
