Warning signs always happen early on. But it's often something we realize on hindsight. Sometimes way later.
It took me three years of the usual humbadrum to slowly realise it was like this all along.
The need for control. To do it your way. The desire for competition.
It was way back in my second month when I suggested a different way of phrasing: it was 'vicious circle', not 'cycle', I proposed.
I too was under that misconception but my fyp mate corrected me while we were doing our final project as students and I trust her skills.
Was just trying to pluck up my courage and throw in this new suggestion at the workplace.
Then you replied in a manner I've grown accustomed to.. 'I am inclined to keep it as 'viscous cycle'...'
So be it. I thought.
But so was it for many other things after that.

Warning signs always occur early. I strive for the discernment to pick it out early from henceforth.
It's always embedded deep in a hunch giving us clues. Be alert. Ponder over..
