thats a whole 'lotta camera! its a good price for 7 megapixels and a screen that size. the 4 AA batteries might make it a little on the heavy side, but it looks like a good buy. i'm sure you'll get a feel for the camera and takes lots of amazing pictures!

HmmmHmm do you think it's a good idea having a camera that size if I'm going to be travelling with it?
PS: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REPLYING. I didn't really think anyone would.
Someone in my last post recommended this http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/fujifilmf30/
I'm a camera idiot, so I don't really know.
Also, you take awesome pictures. Did your camera cost over $350? Feel free to reccomend me cameras for under that price. I am inexperienced and kind of want someone who knows what they are talking about to point me in the right direction.
I <3 you

of course! any way i can help. well its really depends on how you plan on using the camera - the one you posted is a digital SLR meaning you can change the aperture (how wide the lens opens to let light through), and the shutter speed. these two functions allow you to adjust manually to the different light situations you may encounter (digital SLR's also have automatic settings). where on the other hand, http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/fujifilmf30/ <-- this one is for the most part automatic, allowing you to shoot basically two ways: with flash and without flash. this is helpful for what is called "point-and-shoot" photography thats is carefree & doesnt' have the fuss of, well...setting settings!

this little guy is my camera:

Oh gosh, this might sound silly, but you have no idea how much that comment meant to me! Haha!
That was pretty much amazing and exactly what I was looking for.
You were able to provide a marvelous amount of information, that I can understand, with a looming deadline, :p.
No but seriously, thank you times a million. I really wish that that Fuji camera didn't have that battery deal, because like you said, the feel of it is important, and I really did like that one in that respect.
Well, gosh, Eva. <3333
