You are "Bowl of Oranges". You see life
to more than what most people do and you
genuinely care about people. You feel art and
music is the sure way of lifting your spirits.
You wish others could have appreciation like
you do, but, unfortunately, you are probably
the only one.
Which BRIGHT EYES song are you? brought to you by
Quizilla I'm on a Bright Eyes kick right now. It's official that Arienette makes me cry. I love all of Fevers and Mirrors, really, it's an emotional CD.
And I see Maeglin Yedi posted the second chapter of
Speak a Different Tongue, which I've been checking back on since I found it a few days ago. There are simply not enough Voldemort/Harry fics in this fandom. :-p I'm thinking of writing one, had the idea bouncing about in my skull for a few days. But... you know those plots that sound cheesy and OOC even in your head, much less how they're going to look on paper? Oh yes.
But I think if I don't get an AU with Voldemort as the DADA teacher, as suggested in HBP, I'm going to be pushed to writing it myself. I mean, come on people, it's been 2.5 weeks, you've had more than enough time. It seems that nobody but me is interested in such a concept. Sigh.
My younger sister and her friend made a 335-box hopscotch. I made them do it all while I watched. Mwahaha. They'll develop good strong leg muscles.
And finally, I've begun a new project. On my trip down to San Elijo a while ago (which I never mentioned, oops) I found the coolest shop in the world. It was...I don't know quite what. There was this grizzled old shopkeeper like something out of Are You Afraid of the Dark. And artists would bring him their crafts. And there was a box of natural notebooks - the cover is made of bark and leaves, with pulpy brown paper for sheafs. So I bought one, and I really should post a picture to go with it. But it's cool and I didn't feel like I had anything significant enough for it. But tonight I was looking over some poetry, and found Rudyard Kipling's
If. I damn love that poem. So I put that in my book. And plan to fill the rest with more poetry and quotes and pictures. And it's just going to be so brilliantly personal and emotional and me. So I'm excited about that. (There's only forty-four pages in this book, however, and I fear that if I go too crazy I'll just fill it with crap I'll think is trite a couple years from now. Heh.) So that's a fantastic project for me for awhile.
And now I'm off to read Maeglin Yedi's fic. :-D
