I'd actually like to do that. I have to get a hold of a Bible, but I think this would be interesting. One thing though... if I get involved in any of the discussions, is anyone going to be offended by my "open" view of the Bible? I mean, just tell me now, and I promise to keep my mouth shut.

I wont. I might not agree with you, and I might even try to convince you otherwise, but as long as you promise not to be offended by that, I wont be offended by your views either.

As far as getting a bible, I am sure if you go by any church or church group on campus, tell them you want to read the bible but dont have one, they will have an extra lying around.

I may stay with it about as well as I stay with exercising, but, it's worth a shot.

I mean, if Missie's in, who am I to not be?

and, keeping up with it wont be easy for me. Thats one reason I am doing it this way. If others are holding me accountable, I am more likely to keep up. Also, if I think that just 1 of the next 365 days I might write something meaningfuly as a result, that could effect someone's life in a positive way, its much more likely to keep me going than if I am just doing it for my own growth.

Its kind of like going to church. I am bad about going. But, if I know someone else is going with me, and only going because I'm going, I don't miss. Its like I am willing to risk my own soul, but I'm not gonna take a chance with someone elses!
