DMB post (eternally devoted)

That's what I love about Dave Matthews Band songs.  He is so sexual/sensual, but he
always meshes it with true love -- the one where people grow old together happily
(even if there are tribulations).  He calls his love his best friend -- ahh such respect for the female species.
He puts his woman on a pedestal in such a lovely, yet still quite lusty way.
He does this nicely in the song, Dreamgirl :

"Still you're my best friend
and after a good, good drunk
you and me wake up and make love
after a deep sleep where I was dreaming..."

Below is the "Space Between" -- the other song -- the one about
the man doesn't want her to give up on their love... the love outweights the
badtimes.

Will I hold you again?
These fickle, fuddled words confuse me
Like will it rain today?
We waste the hours with talking, talking
These twisted games we're playing

Look at us spinning out in the madness of a rollercoaster
You know you went off like the devil in a church
In the middle of a crowded room
All we can do, my love
Is hope we dont take this ship down

The space between, where you smile and hide
Where youll find me if I get to go
The space between, the bullets in our fire fight
Is where Ill be hiding, waiting for you
The rain that falls splashed in your heart
Ran like sadness down the window into your room
The space between, our wicked lies
Is where we hope to keep safe from pain
