37 week appt; + GBS
I'm positive for Group B Strep. So as soon as I go to the hospital when I'm in labor, they will stick an IV in my arm and pump me with penicillin. I really shouldn't be reading up on it so much, because I don't want to know about all the babies who have died from it and such. I did read that it can cause urinary tract infections, which probably explains the one I got around 20 weeks.
The baby's growth is catching up, so he's no longer behind. I am 36 weeks 6 days today and he was measuring at 35.5. His heartbeat sounds good and he's still head down. I've gained a pound, which is good and surprises me a bit since I haven't had an appetite. My blood pressure was slightly high today, but probably since I have been sick. Today I am feeling quite a bit better. I sound awful because my throat is still sore, but I'm finally feeling a definite improvement.
