*hisses at the light* Grr! Bloody early-rising bathroom refitters. No sleep for the wicked.
I don't suppose any of you fabulous computer experts on my f'list fancy giving me some advice? I have to order the parts for a new computer and I really don't have much of an idea about component makes. I'd really, really appreciate any advice offered.
My main questions are:
- Do Intel or Amd (or another brand) make the most reliable processors or are they all of a similar standard?
- Are there any particular motherboard manufacturers you'd recommend/avoid?
- Are there any keywords I need to look for in choosing memory?
- Any tips you can give me on RAM?
- Any other advice atall?
