Piano Man
I just got done submitting for the current week's competition in aswimcontest and recalled I'd not yet posted last week's icon. Last week's theme was Ebony & Ivory, and though all that entailed was making a black and white icon, I felt inclined to push the theme to its logical conclusion, featuring Tom Dubois singing that song Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney drizzled in our ears like so much molten marzipan back in the '80s. I bagged third place. I might've done better with another simple composition, but felt this icon had to have production values closer to those of multi-platinum pop ballad. :P
This week's theme is Stressed Out and I've got a good feeling about my entry.
I'm giving some consideration to entering competition in iconbenders, an icon contest community inspired by Avatar: The Last Airbender. It looks like a good community and the people submitting icons to it are doing great work. If I do join the fun, expect Avatar icons (Avatar avatars?) to appear here in the future.
