(no subject)
Merry Christmas!! Glad to see mostly everyone had a good one :). Kirk's parents spoiled us this year!! And Kirk went way crazy on me. He got me Mary Poppins on dvd (SCORE), Harry Potter #5 (which I already opened), a big thing of Arbonne's Pampermint bodywash & sugar scrub and a freaking 1/2 carat diamond necklace (:/). I feel terrible, because all I got him was a calendar, a faceplate for behind his gauges in his car and a buffer for his car. We're going shopping tomorrow tho :D.
His parents got us all WAY too much, but this is the first Christmas they've had money in like 12 years? So they went ALL OUT. They got me a nice soft jacket, a fondue set that looks like a big hershey's kiss, a cool squishy pillow, Hanes t-shirt sheets with clouds & moons, a sweet red faux suede blanket, a big pretty green & blue glass mosaic hurricane candle holder thing with a YUMMY smelling peach/ginger candle, Cool Water perfume (I already have some, but it's good stuff so it's all good!), and I'm sure more little things that I just can't remember.
My parents gave us (among other things) a Sears giftcard and a Walmart giftcard, which I think we're going to put to use tomorrow when we try to hit some good sales. I need bras & undies badly! I need to pick up some guinea pig food too. I wanted to order some nice Oxbow food for them, but I just can't afford that right now. Maybe if we don't spend too much tomorrow? Although I'll still need a small bag as we're just about OUT completely. I still have a few dollars (like $6?) credit for a pet store in Hanover, they sell food by weight so maybe I'll just grab a few handfuls of that. Yeaaaah. I also want to go to Peebles, since I need work clothes like crazy! God, am I turning into my mom/grandmom already?! :) I REALLY want a nice digital camera, but we'll see. Kirk informed me that when he bought my necklace he also applied and got a Sears card, so he put my name on it as well. The limit is $500. Woo! I'm sure we'll only use it for little things here and there, like work clothes and things, but it's nice having my first credit card! Even if my credit didn't exactly GET it ;).
Time to hit the sack and sleep in our new sheets!!! :D
