(no subject)
Our inside Christmas party at work was today. We stuffed our faces, listened to Christmas music and picked a number to get a random gift. I got a crystal Mikasa snowman playing guitar. It's cute (and HEAVY!) :). The woman who got my gift just loved it, so yay for that! I am so stuffed right now, not feeling like answering the phone, and in aprox. 3.5 hours I'll be stuffing my face some more at Kirk's works Christmas party. Fun!
I wrapped a few gifts last night, but I'm STILL not done! I need to find a bag or box to stick Amanda's in, and some tissue paper. Maybe we'll try to steal some from Kirk's mom? I'd hate to buy a huge pack of it for just 2 gifts! Oh well, there's always the dollar store :D.
Kirk and I made some more Chocolate covered pretzels last night. We are addicted to them and decided that if his boss would sell them in her country store, we would supply her with some home made ones, because they're just SO good and so easy to make. Not to mention we are creative with it and make some neat looking (and extra good tasting) ones! Good stuff. I think I'm going to buy a bunch of Christmas tins at after-Christmas sales this year and give out pretzels or cookies for gifts next year, since I'll probably be poor then too, haha. And who doesn't like food? My point exactly.
Well, better get back to work now!
ps- Does anyone know of a way to somehow make all of your entries friends-only? If not, I may just start a new journal afterall. Thanks!
