 MAKE HISTORY

This was the tagline to a series of Vidal Sassoon ads when I was growing up. I wanted to grow up to do what he did (I didn't!) after he said in an interview that he wanted to help women look their best.  Possibly my first celebrity fixation and the beginning of my British accent fetish.

Saw the documentary last night. Well done. Loved the part about losing his Cockney accent so he could work.  I had to lose my Long Island accent so I could work.  I still want to grow up and do what he does.
