Personal Shopping

Oct 29, 2011 12:00

Am currently apartment hunting and have decided to donate much of my old furniture and start fresh with new baggage-free furnishings. The downside is, this is going to be an expensive undertaking. I have competing savings accounts running right now. The "London in May" account and "Week in Santa Monica" account are slow coming and will now need to compete with "New Digs" account.   I have to forgo casual shopping and save for that new bedroom set and sofa. Needless to say, I am preoccupied by shopping.

I came across this, to be filed under the "How Did I Not Know This" Tab!:

Personal Shoppers at Heathrow Airport
Personal Shopping Consultants at Heathrow Airport, wearing green uniforms, offer this complimentary service -- one of the many services and activities that can make a layover in London a mini-break in and of itself. The London "Layover Guide" spotlights the many things available at Heathrow (Like the Molton Brown Spa) or within a stones' throw (Layover Tours let you see sights that are close to the airport if you have a long layover).

May can't get here soon enough!
