Packing...packing...packing moving to new states is SUCH A ROYAL PAIN!!!
We are loading the truck and whatnot tomorrow-then starting on our way Friday morning. Off we go to start a new life! We will get to the new place sometime around noon on Monday. I really really hope we love Austin! I never want to move far again bleh
and now a Korn story ;)
WOW...Ok so we (Ash and I) went to see KoRn Saturday night- gen admission show. First off- I forgot the tickets, so we were about 30 min into the drive and had to come home and get them-when we showed up at the Saltair-they were opening the doors and there was a pretty good line of people. We went in and I peed-then we pretty much just walked to the spot we wanted without anyone protesting! Easy peasy! We had THE PERFECT spot- like 2 people in front of me-but staggared so I had a perfect view
we were front and CENTER...like DEAD CENTER...that is until some drunk tall ASS decided to elbow people to get up further and Ashley ended up getting his elbow in her neck and he was hurting her -like grinding it she said and then with the pushing(also mostly by him) -she couldnt breath so about 5 min before Korn went on, I hear her say(she was directly behind me) "OMG MOM-I can't breath and I can't DO this-I'm sorry" I had yelled at the guy "DO you even care that you are hurting and pushing my 16 yr old?" just before that -and he WOULD NOT STOP-he basically told me to fuck off- everyone around us was fighting for themselves and for us too-since we had been standing in THAT spot ALL night- I didn't even risk going to pee- we fought for that spot and we were holding it fine until then. Anyhow, when I heard her say that-we decided that the drunk asshole would get what he wanted and she started to fight her way OUT. He moved into her spot at that point and he was standing in front of me -so I had to yell at him and push him to get the fuck out of my way so I could leave with her. At that point we went to get some water and I was SO freaking PISSED/bummed that I ended up in tears...
nice huh- we managed to find a spot where we could see them and breath-but it just wasn't the same :(
Bummer is that we held our ground for all the opening stuff (which I have to say kinda sucked-but whatever) and then that. Grrr
Oh well- her safety was way more important than being 4or 5 ft from Jonathan
I knew we'd have to fight for our spot-I mean it WAS PRIME...but DAMN what an asshole that guy was- about 10 min or so before that went down-he was threatened with being thrown out for the same kind of shit but over to the left and slightly more back of us. Ash said the 2 guys he was with went upstairs at that point to drink...I guess he was just determined to be a jerk. When we were fighting our way out-everyone around us was like OMG your leaving your spot?
...I seriously hope someone knocked that guy out or his ass got booted from the show-but we didn't stay up close enough to find out
Korn was AMAZING though as usual :) and we were able to see thier facial expressions and whatnot and they all looked like they were having a really good time so that was really cool. Highlight for me wa when they did Don't Throw Me Away- I didn't expect it and I love it-I tried to take video-but being a Korn show- it was pretty difficult- The pics we got were pretty bad-blurry :/
