Big changes and good times

So, we have decided to move to Texas. We were going to move there anyhow-before he got the job here and threw off our plans. Ryan has decided he doesn't like Utah -it just took him a bit longer than the rest of us to figure out that it wasn't for us.
The plan is to leave the first part of June, since we want the kids to finish the school year and we can continue saving until then.
He has been applying for jobs, but most of the time they say thanks but no thanks since we are in a different state and there are so many people looking-they don't need to look far for people to fill positions. BUT yesterday he got a call from one and they are going to do a phone interview with him on Tuesday. We think they will offer relocation if he gets it and it is for a job doing what he does now. We are really hopeful he will get it. It would be SO nice to get there knowing he has a job and having them pay for moving expenses would be awesome!...so cross your fingers for us or whatever :)
I try not to get too excited about stuff like this though until it actually happens.

Easter was really nice this year- we gave the kids baskets with a litlle candy and nat got 30 bucks to go buy whatever nerf gun he chose (he said that was what he wanted-I figured we would let him pick it) and a realm change on World of Warcraft. Ash got the same candy and tickets (one for me-so I can take her) to see H.I.M. on the 26th of this month (she is super happy about it). We all went to brunch at IHOP and then went to see Clash of the Titans. We got the stuff for Ashley to cook us dinner-and she made us Fettuccini Alfredo and homemade breadsticks ( recipes that she got at school in her cooking class). It was SERIOUSLY yummy...we will have to make her cook it for us again!

I went to see a show the other night with Ash and a group of people- her best friend and her mom and brother and family friends...anyhow I was kinda debating if I should go or not and finally decided to just do it. I am gald- the bands were all pretty good. If you havn't heard of Imagine Dragons you should check them out. They are amazing! the first band was called Links and is from Los Angeles and they were really good too. Was a great way to spend a Friday night :)

It feels good to write something here that isn't just me bitching about life!
*also yesterday was a beautiful day and the next 3 or 4 days are supposed to be nice too. It's about damn time! I wanna open the windows and blast music! I will probably clean out the car too
