Thursday Prompt - New Year's Resolution.
I haven't broken my resolution as much as I just haven't been able to achieve it yet.
You see, I might be the only one on Earth who likes New Year's resolutions. I like seemingly impossible goals. I like challenges. They're fun.
This year, my resolution is to get an interview with the Joker. I have been working towards that goal, doing whatever I can to prove to myself to the higher-ups at Arkham. However, my biggest problem is... he isn't here. Not yet, at least. I don't really know where he is, but he's avoiding capture sure enough. It's terribly inconvenient. But I'm not giving up. Eventually he'll be brought in. Or I'll find him. And I'll be ready.
Coincidentally, I've recently broken the resolution I made last year and started smoking again. But it doesn't count after you make a new one... right?
