Welcome! Just have to bound up and babble with enthusiasm because this seems like a great take on a great legend. Probably much closer to the 'original' too, though of course that's nearly impossible to know... I remember the BBC did a series a couple of years back which was hilarious for all the wrong reasons. XD Still nerded it up and watched it though.

Also: I like the balance of action and introspection in the drabble thingie, it works pretty well. :)

Oh I LOVED the BBC version in all of its crazy hilarity. It was sort of what got me going deeper into alternate versions and sort of creating my own take on things. Well, Wil's take, since the day he showed up in my head and demanded that I pay attention to him, that is.

Bahaha, Marian wearing dresses from Topshop did make my day. And hey, you're not the only person I know who was inspired to delve deeper into it, so it was good for something!
