Saturday on the air

If someone was foolish enough to make you the DJ of your own live radio show..... what would you do with it?

Marce: Invite guests to speak on social issues mainly, and even have call-in Q&A sessions. I'd play some of music written on these topics, whether it is old 80s-90s music or new stuff written on up and coming concerns. This would have to be through NGO or listener funding, as no sane government official would want to finance an "anti-establishment" station.

Emil: I'd go for the early morning or rush hour shift to provide some sort of comedy for those stressful hours. I remember back when I was younger, we had a show called "The Morning Rush" that featured Top 10 call-ins from readers and lots of fun upbeat music in the morning. I'd love to have something like that. I'd have one day dedicated to 'old' music for the classic rock, swing and new wave stuff that I'm sure I've got lying around.

Darren: None of you guys have thought of this: a radio show dedicated to theater. I'd invite stars and directors to talk about and plug their shows. I'd have musical excerpts from productions.

Wena: I'd have a radio play thing going on, or on-air improv shows. Imagine what a gas that would be!
