Maybe you're one of those people who likes keeping to yourself, who doesn't much care for people flitting in and out of your space. Or maybe you're the one who wants to be best friends with everybody, bringing smiles and cheer to all around you.
So, which is it? Are you a hermit or a social butterfly?
Camilla is the social one. The twins look nothing like each other, behave nothing like each other. Camilla is bright and laughs with her friends and raises her hand during lessons; when the teacher calls on her, her answers are always right. For their tenth birthday Camilla begged their mother to have separate birthday parties and her mother relented only after Lisbeth told her she didn't want a stupid party anyway.
Miriam is the social one. She's smiles and funny stories and blue eyes that light up when she laughs. People call her to come out, to grab a beer after a hard day at work. People want to be close to Miriam, to have her be interested in them. She's beautiful and interesting in all those ways that people gravitate toward, even Lisbeth. To be fair Lisbeth was drunk at the time.
Lisbeth isn't social and never has been. People don't flock to her, don't ask her out for drinks after work. People stay away and that's fine with her, saves on rejection. Plus the less people know she's a freak the better.
