Maybe you're one of those people who likes keeping to yourself, who doesn't much care for people flitting in and out of your space. Or maybe you're the one who wants to be best friends with everybody, bringing smiles and cheer to all around you.
So, which is it? Are you a hermit or a social butterfly?
Life is simply not as much fun without other people around. I do seem to concentrate and work best when I'm alone, but before too long I am restless for conversation. Work always seems to come second to socialization. I remember that awful summer when we vacationed in a remote part of the countryside, away from all society. I was bored to tears. Thankfully, Constance left for a few weeks and I had Bosie to entertain me. If I can't have a crowd, having him all to myself will certainly take care of my extroversion (among other things). But I'm happiest in a crowded, noisy restaurant; in the audience of the theatre; wandering through the busiest sections of London. I need friends, I need companions - but most of all, I need an audience.
