Audience Vs. Self [prompt for charloft 10/04/10]
There's definitely another Epic Fic of Doom™ I have in the back of my mind for jurisimmortalis. Mostly it's self-indulgent au!crack that involves a super spy and a Gary Stu Mustang GT 500 KR. Anyway. I generally tend to write Natalie with the public in mind. The last thing I want to do is turn her into a Sue of Epic Proportions™ But the few times I've mentioned my spy!fic to other writers, they've groaned and told me to lose one of the canon!stus. Keeping both would be a bit much. So, I've caved and taken their advice. More than that actually, I've kinda let the fic flounder unwritten/untouched in my Google Docs. If I were to continue writing it for myself, I'd definitely keep both of the other characters, but I'd probably drop one (not sure which) if I was actually going to post it anywhere.
