1: Vacation
"We can't vacation anymore."
"What?" Simon looked at Penny, confused and a little afraid.
"Any time we do, something big changes." Penny was wide eyed with worry, not a common occurrence for her.
"What happened?" Now Simon was just confused. It didn't help that Penny hesitated.
She worried her hands a moment, found her feet fascinating until Simon went over and tilted her head to look up at him.
"What happened, Penelope?" She'd been sick all week. Tired and irritable, too. She'd gone for a walk, returned with a bag he wasn't allowed to see and...
"So...um...I'm pregnant."
