My name / nickname / handle: Erin, ErinM, erinm_4600
Contact me by: MSN/YIM: erinm_4600; AOL: wenninrome

Characters played: Dr Stephen Connor (dr_connor_nih), Adora Cain (bythewhiteelm), Maddy Skinner (madrosehatter) and Rick Harper/Mel Walker (startin_fires).

Preferred play / writing style: I'm really not up on RPG-talk, so I'm skipping this question. ;)

Looking for: Smarter people than me, folks with crazier muses than me... Friends! Pretty much people for these guys to talk to who aren't me... because I already talk to myself enough. %]

About me: I'm 30, a fangirl at heart and I make maps for a living. I've got an unhealthy obsession with the computer and tend to find myself answering emails with LJ-coding without noticing it. My muse is a masochist and, before I can write down one idea, he's got three more.

'Fandoms' or genres: My focus is mostly on Tin Man, but I am in many fandoms. I only write for a few, here and there, however. The most that get attention writing-wise are Tin Man or the original characters. I've dabbled in Stargate, Harry Potter, Firefly and Doctor Who, but have yet to really find my voice in them.

About my characters:
+ Dr Stephen Connor (dr_connor_nih) is a doctor for the NIH, and featured in NBC's Medical Investigation. By the first episode, we knew that he's a workaholic, loves his son and isn't happy about the divorce his wife initiated. As the only season progressed, he started sleeping at the office instead of going home to his new apartment; spent less time with his son; and I really don't know why I grabbed him. He's moody and locks himself in his office and doesn't really like to play.
+ Adora Cain (bythewhiteelm) was in Sci-Fi's Tin Man for a whole 20 seconds. Seriously. She's also dead. In fact, her headstone got more screen time. o.O But, I latched on to her one time, during a drabble session, and, now, I can't focus on much else. She started out as just Adora, but, thanks to an Adora-centric fic I've been working on, that Adora is starting to take over the LJ. Which is fine... but it gets a little confusing because she also knows all the versions of her. She knows mostly jack-squat about "our world", but she's learning. Like Bones, she tends to give a lot of "I don't know what that means"-answers.
+ Maddy Skinner (madrosehatter) is an OC from The Guardian. She quite literally came up as an afterthought toward the end of a oneshot about her father (who was in the movie), and ended up taking over the story. She's actually about six years ahead of 'real time' which is mostly why she's always talking about older music.
+ Rick Harper/Mel Walker (startin_fires) are entirely original. Mel was born from the first post at characteraday and I never thought of her again. Rick followed a few months later and, POOF!, there was a story. The story is happening in real time (ex: they're getting married next Saturday), but what's written is still in catch-up mode from the last two years. Main problem here is that the muse keeps jumping ahead to the future.

+ Nora Maxwell (nomax_nyc) is an mostly-dead!RPG LJ character who I will probably bring over here, once I know if the RPG is really dead or not. It is. I'm just holding out hope.
+ I'm also so OCD with the voices in my head that I made an LJ for my muse (steves_the_boss), and gave an icon to each of the other characters. But that would make even you guys crazy.. so we'll leave it at that.

Communities/websites/etc I'd like to pimp:
characteraday - two prompts a day, every day (one person, one 'thing'). Unfortunately, we just went into a month-hiatus so that the other mods can catch up on real life, etc., and I can get caught up on the archiving. But, it's there!
prompt_in_a_box - You pick three prompts, randomly, once a month and then come up with story. All fandoms/originals, genres and ratings are welcome!
