Marilyn and I have been hit by Wall Street losses before (years ago). And now we've been hit again. They say to sit tight. It will 'come back.' But Marilyn's pretty upset. It's not like we had that much money to begin with. And now? And it's easy for younger people to say 'sit tight' -- try that when you're in your 60's

St. Jude is on this because I've been praying to him a lot today. Sister Sue has lost her glasses. She believes in they're in the house somewhere, but she's looked and Candy has looked and they can't find them. This is bad, because she really can't afford to replace them

On the way to the office this morning, I got a call from the specialist -- Kay was asking if I could come in early, at 10:30. (My appointment was originally set for 1:00.) Marilyn and I got to the office and there were immediately IT issues to deal with. I was chatting with Shelley and Marilyn reminds me to phone and say 'yes' to the appointment

Sister Sue suzy_qp took her running car in for an oil change -- then had it go belly up while grocery shopping. Triple AAA took her home, but she has no clue what to do now. The man who towed her said he couldn't speak about the place she'd gone to, but implied it wasn't trustworthy -- so there's good reason to believe they did something to make the car
