First thing today Marilyn and I went with sister Sue to her doctor appointment. Marilyn went back and took notes, while I stayed in the waiting room...
There are more tests to come, but it all sounded very promising. I'm convinced Sue will be doing well when this is all finally done and some time has passed.
Marilyn and I watched the movie "
Source Code," featuring Jake Gyllenhaal. We weren't fans, frankly. It was somewhat entertaining, with a weird concept that got very redundant as far as we were concerned. But it got a 91% rating at the above-linked RottenTomatoes.Com. Go figure...
We stayed up really late last night (or early into the morning, if you prefer). We've had a pretty lazy and relaxing day today.
I'm still dealing with the issue at work with the overheating in the IT Room. I'm pleased to say that Laura is being very proactive about the situation!
As for what we did today aside from the trip to the doctor, we've been watching TV and playing Zuma and resting (napping a bit). I've also been reading my Kindle.
What now I'm reading the book "
The American Book of the Dead," by Henry Baum, an award-winning story. It's difficult to describe, but it's a novel about the end of the world. I must admit I'm fascinated by it, even though I find a lot of it quite odd...
I also spent some time playing with the cats. Colin and I were having a lot of fun playing with a brown paper sack -- it was so cute! Part of the time he was just inside the bag purring and purring while we played. I also played with both cats using the mouse laser light toy.
Unlike yesterday, today's weather was crummy, so it was fine to spend a day inside. (smile) Doing pretty much nothing was just fine, too!
