Early Wednesday...

Yes, you read the time right -- it's a quarter past 7:00. Marilyn mistressmarilyn is already off to work for a meeting she couldn't miss, in spite of still not feeling well. I asked her if she could come home after, but Rich set up an interview that she needs to do first.

Anyway, I'm hopeful she won't have to be there the full day.

Obviously I'm still home and will not be going in today, which is fine by me. I think I'm running a low grade fever, so I've got a sore throat this morning from tossing off my blankets (and even the sheet) all night long. It was a restless night for me, I must admit.

I used my 'Coffee, Please!' icon, but I don't think I'll make a pot just yet. In fact, I think I'll cozy down on the living room sofa and go back to sleep.

I have my current book, "The Secret History" (by Donna Tartt, 1992) that Paul (my next door cube neighbor at work) loaned me to read and that I mentioned briefly in my entry here yesterday, though not by name. The above link is NOT to an official website, by the way, but to an online book (sample, not full). I'm not sure Ms. Tartt has her own website, which is odd in this day and age... (She won the WH Smith Literary Award for her book "The Little Friend," and is an amazing writer.)

I'm actually typing this entry on my laptop from the living room. It's wet and nasty outside again today and I'm looking forward to going back to sleep!

I tested this morning, but will do so again when I wake up. It's too early for me to take meds and eat, frankly...

I can barely keep my eyes open, so that's all for now!
