Tummy Ache... TMI...
Marilyn actually wants me to stay home tomorrow and focus on the festival website. So that's what I'm going to do. I had planned to go to work, but whatever.
I did tell Donn to come in, so I actually need to contact him and ask him to wait until the end of the week... (sigh) But I want him in there with me. So...
I have my dental appointment in the morning on Wednesday (sister Sue is taking me), so it will be nice to get THAT out of the way. (woo hoo) I can't wait to get my teeth cleaned, as it's been awhile!
We started our Monday off by heading directly to Les Schwab Tires (on Lombard). Our tire light had been on, so we didn't want to take any chances. We were there more than an hour (they were so busy!), but the guy checked all the tires. They were low, so he filled them. They don't charge a dime for this! It's amazing.
Marilyn asked me if I thought she should treat them to pizza, which I thought was a great idea.
We went from the Les Schwab to Freddies to do some shopping. The store is crazy changed -- not necessarily in a good way, either. I don't know WHAT THE HELL they're going for. Very annoying.
After we finally got done there, we went directly to Pizza Hut and ordered five large pizzas to send to Les Schwab -- anybody want to guess at the total price? (It's probably more than you'd guess...) You can literally SEE Les Schwab from the parking lot, so it shouldn't have been as complicated as it was. And then the delivery guy had to phone us because he was confused. Hahaha. But hopefully they got their pizzas okay!!!
Too bad everybody can't do business the way Les Schwab does. This would be a better world, for sure! You know you can trust them for your tires. And so often there's no charge for what they do! Imagine a business that helps tons of people out every single day for NOTHING! Amazing.
Marilyn really is much better. She's still a bit puny (understandably!!!), but she looks good and is sitting up and was out and about. Hopefully she'll do good tomorrow at the office...
I need to put up a 'friends only' post about a new product we're trying out that you should hear about. I'll talk it over with her and get back to you. (smile) It's a personal item, but an amazing one!
Well, we're headed to bed soon, so I'm kind of rushing here!
The Westminster dog show started tonight, and (as always) we watched that.
Oh!!! It turns out that sister Sue now has HD cable!!! Who knew??? That's great. We sure love it! (We found out while Marilyn was getting Sue on the right channel to watch the dog show.)
We watched quite a bit of the Grammys, too. The big winners were deserving. The sets were excellent. Taylor did a good job with the opening number.
I'm still having a bad tummy ache almost constantly! I hope that gets resolved when I see Leslie on Friday. It's just murder... And nobody wants to eat when their stomach is hurting!
Can't think what I'm forgetting. But I'm off to bed. Sleep well, and STAY HEALTHY! (We keep hearing about more and more people who have this same nasty bug! Yikes!!!)
