Green Tomatoes for Dinner
Marilyn and I actually watched some of the Men's Final of the US Open -- but really, not much. (It was a disappointing match-up, that's for sure.) It's sad to imagine this is CBS's last year covering the Open...
We spent a pretty quiet day. We didn't go out at all, so we didn't get our manicures done. But neither one of us cared.
Colin caught a HUGE spider today and killed! But he didn't seem sure what to do with it. Glad he didn't try to eat it, like usual. I didn't like the looks of it. So I got it up in a tissue and tossed it out.
We watched "Saving Mr. Banks” today -- it was really good! I highly recommend it, if you haven't seen iy, yet.
We had a mess of green tomatoes for a late dinner tonight. That's only our second time this year, so far! We'll need to go and pick again soon, as the ones we got before will be ripening. They were delish, by the way!
Back to work tomorrow -- vacation is over. We certainly had a great time and got a lot done!
