It was a very busy day at the office, working on the eNewsletter for this week -- and on festival website updates. We had our usual Staff meeting (every Tuesday). And I had Donn come in to do some IT work (including fixing the dual monitor for the finance computer).
Marilyn and I didn't get a break until 4:00, as she had a two-hour presentation in the afternoon. We walked over to Subway and I got a soup (boy, they don't give you much...). She didn't eat at all. I was starved, so that surprised me!
I cooked dinner: hamburger patties with cheese (no buns/bread), string beans, cottage cheese and celery (with fresh brewed coffee). It was good!
In the afternoon I went on Facebook very briefly and found out that "Dallas" has been renewed. TNT has ordered 15 new episodes for the third season, with the drama expected to return in early 2014. Marilyn and I weren't sure it would be picked up, so this was exciting news.
Well, I need a nap bad. I'm sitting here yawning. We both have work to do, but we're thinking we'll nap first and then get up and do the work...
I finished my one zombie book "The Zombie Wilson Diaries," by Timothy W. Long. Strange book. I still don't know if I liked it or not... It had very little going for it. (I wasn't even sure I was going to finish reading it, it was so bad.)
Now I'm reading a zombie-ish book by Jacqueline Druga -- "Sleepers." Again, not sure if I like this novel. I guess the jury is out. I'll let you know what I think (of course).
Off for that nap!
