Hi, everyone.
There's no good way to say this, so I'm just going to be blunt.
Sara and I are breaking up.
I love Sara dearly. I love to be around her, to talk with her, to live with her. But, we've been talking, and it turns out we have some very different long-term goals in terms of jobs, houses, and kids, among other things. These are things that really don't effect anything now, but will before too long. Instead of waiting until one of us is unhappy because of the other's desires, we're ending it now, and doing our damnedest to end it happy.
One of us did not dump the other. This was a mutual decision. We have every intention of staying friends, and I definitely still want her in my life in some capacity.
So, that's it, I guess. I'm sad, but I'll be okay, and I have no regrets, about our years together, or about ending them.
