By watching it on TV, then checking it up on the internet and finding out that in fact, the dub is insane and the manga and fanfiction around it is awesome.
2.) What's the one Brit reference you love making, but always makes the Yanks scratch their head at?
I often impersonate the local accent and dialects here because they sound hilarious, but no one else but the Welsh get it. Not even the English. 'Aww, shuup u, i'm headin' down to the chippy like but' etc also the sayings 'aw, you brusin' for a crusin'?! U jumpin' for a thumpin'?' 'aright mush?' But I suppose I use the word 'cariad' a lot, which is like a term of endearment. (It means 'love' in Welsh)
3.) What's the one Yank reference you love making, but always makes the Brit's look down their nose at you?
Haha, the second I open my mouth they look down at me because I sound totally American, and my voice is so easily picked up in a crowd. I once had a friend say at first he didn't like me because he automatically thought 'oh God, she's American', (the douche bag) but then he actually got to know me and I've taken the piss out of him for it ever since. The idiot. Actually, there's a British saying I use a lot 'take the piss'.
4.) Rugby, football or other?
Rugby over football. Cricket (Go West Indies!) and Golf over Rugby.
5.) What's your favorite Welsh word?
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch which is one of the longest words in existence and is actually the name of a town.

1. What inspired you to start writing Hooligans? (and how can we inspire you to write more of it?)
I wanted to write a funny story about the Shitennou bonding and getting to know the Senshi, but I also wanted to play on my strengths (dealing with the UK) since when I'd tried previously, I always had to stop when the fic required me to explain the setting it was in. As for inspiration, you guys give me plenty of that, I'm just waiting for my laptop to come home from the repair insurance people.
2. Is there any sort of story surrounding your choice of pen name? Is the 2 significant?
Haha, well Charlie is my middle name (yes, it's a boy's name I know...but try telling her that. Though to be honest I kind of like it, it's 'quirky') and I'm a fan of Charlie Chaplin (minus his almost pedo tendencies...). The two is simply there because when I was setting up my email address, Charliechaplin had already been taken...

4. If you could sit down with any literary figure and chat, who would you want to talk to? Why?
I suppose it would be Madame Bovary, because I'd want to ask her if she was genuinely that stupid or if she was putting it on. (Just kidding, but I'm not...that actually happened.) The one I'd really love to get to know would be Merteuil from Les Liaisons Dangereuses, because that woman was so bitter and evil yet at the same time you just couldn't hate her. She's one of the most fascinating characters I've ever seen on paper.
5. If you found a baby abandoned on your doorstep, what would you do?
I suppose the sensible thing would be to hand it into child services. But I'd probably end up also trying to find the parents and get them into counselling for abandoning their baby on my doorstep! While it was in my care though I'd probably go a bit baby-crazy though, those things are so damn cute!!!!!

I haven't yet, but if I ever get around to it (it's purely time constraints) it'll be Gears of War, I love Cole and Baird because they're a hilarious duo. But Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago definitely have the interesting stories. There's just so much you could do with those characters, I'd love to try my hand at them one day...
3) Which holiday(s) is your favorite?
Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!! My family are big on celebrating it, we go crazy with the decorations and Christmas say is just one giant massive feast, including pumpkin pie, since over here Thanksgiving isn't celebrated.
I love the lights everywhere, the music and just that general feeling of happiness which dispels the gloom of winter. Not a doubt in my mind, it's Christmas.
4) If you could write in anyone else's universe, fan creation or canon, whose would it be? Would you even want to?
I've never wanted to write in someone else's verse because I just know I could never do them justice, but there have been so many fics which have just influenced my writing.
5) Would you ever cosplay?
Well, I've never really considered it, and I wouldn't know who I'd dress up as. I don't know, I've never really had the urge, but I went to a Halloween party when I was 5 dressed as a Carebear, does that count? I have to admit though, there are some prttey damn cool costumes out there. Some people put a hell of a lot of effort in their costumes, props to 'em!

1. Which Star Wars movie was your favourite and why?
Need you ask? Episode 4. Because it's the first one. And there are no Ewoks. Although I suppose Episode 5 had Yoda in it.... Ooh, tough one. Both?
2. If there is an era in history that you could pick to live in, which would it be (the present doesn't count!)?
The 80s. Bad hair, bad clothes, bad music and best of all, bad movies!!!!!!!! But I was born in that era, so I suppose the 60s would be pretty damn wild. Anything before is a bit dodgy for me, and anything pre-indoor plumbing is a definite no-no.
3. How did you come about writing fanfic?
I think I realised fanfiction existed around year 9, and then I decided I'd try my hand at it. It's pretty soothing, and it's definitely brought out my creative side. And with this fandom in particular it's pretty broad since some of the characters aren't very developed.
4. If you had carte blanche on a plane ticket, where would you go and what would you do?
New York. And then the Caribbean. One for the food and shopping and grandma, and the other for, well, the food and beaches. Basically, it would all involve food.
5. The most sacred of all questions: Pirates or Ninjas?
Pirates don't shower very often and I get seasick (unless there's Captain Jack. Is there Captain Jack?!) If not, then it's NINJAS!!!!!!! plus I can be sneaky sneaky if I'm a ninja. You'll never see me coming.

1.) Have you ever seen any pantos, and if so which was your favorite?
Last time I saw one, I was 15 and it was the teachers were putting one on for the students (school tradition), I can't say I enjoyed it because the French teacher (who was Prince Charming) got a boner kissing our Georgaphy teacher (who was Snow White), our music teacher (who was 50 but looked 80) was crawling around the floor in a cat mask, leotard and transparent tights and our IT/Religious Studies teacher (who had a massive beer gut) had shoved himself into a Britney Spears costume and blonde wig. *Shudder* Never. Again.
2.)What's the one food you tend to crave the most?
Pizza. And anything Mexican. And Anything Chinese. And anything Indian. Mostly roti though. Actually, I'm kind of hungry now...
3.)What's the most rebellious thing you've ever done?
Well, rebellious? I can't really say I've particularly done anything to defy anyone else. Unless you count missing a lecture because I hated the lecturer.... You know what, that's totally lame. Let's pretend this is my answer:
I went on holiday once, and even though my parents didn't want me to see one of the dancers that performed there, I ended up being taught by him. We fell in love and ended up dancing on stage together. ^_~
4.)Where is your favorite place to visit?
New York. And the beach. And the cinema.
5.)If you could redo any of the Sailor Moon characters would you? What would you change the most?
Oh man, I'd totally redo all the shitennou. But if I could only do one, it would be Jadeite, because he was just so useless. I'd probably give him less stupid plans of action and insert a little bit of humour (I don't crae that Naoko thought he should have been serious, that was a bad idea! Kunzite was serious, you don't need two serious people). I'd also make him less wimpy and much less of a Queen-Beryl brown-noser. And maybe, just for my own personal satisfaction, I'd actually have him and Mars exchange a few sentences other than his creepy stalker thoughts and her yelling about his destruction.
