Wouldn't Ami be just mortified if she knew? Haha, I kind of like the idea of Jade being a swimmer, I really have my doubts though, should it be him or Zoi? Actually, can I ask a question? What sports would you have the guys playing? So far I've got the following:

Kunz - American Football
Neph - American Football (also loves Golf, but he's a bit too bulky for it)
(That's how N & K know each other)
Jade - Swimming (In particular the 200 free and 100 Butterfly)
Zoi - Soccer
Mamo - Baseball (Since he's Japanese)

Golf for Neph is a great side hobby, since he's usually portrayed as Mr. Rich. XD Ohhh How about Rugby? Mmmm, love me some rugby boys. Oh sorry. Got lost there for a minute.

Ooh, Rugby! Although he'd probably end up with cauliflower ears (I suppose that doesn't matter so much since he has such long hair! ^_^)

Can I ask whether Rugby is popular in the States? (I may be half American, but living in the UK means that if I want to watch any kind of US sport I have to be up at 3 in the morning. So I'm not really familiar with what's popular over there...)

I love the idea of Jade trying to be good at basketball. Kind of like Woody Harrilson in White Men Can't Jump...

I think you did a great job with this. I love Jared's perspective, his thinking about how Rei and Zach would feel about it.

Also - I think lacrosse would probably fit Zach well. Not sure I can explain why, but I think it would.

Bahaha, Jared you animal. Poor Ami is lucky she doesn't know.

I love seeing Jadeite as a swimmer, because my mental version of him is always construed as a water creature. I've always wanted to make him a diver, actually, to differentiate him from Ami and Michiru's swimming. Somebody who is perfectly fearless about doing a handstand off of a cement platform way above the pool, and then doing flashy flips on the way down because that's just the sort of over-the-top "look at me I'm awesome" thing that he can brag about afterward.

Haha, yeah, Jared as a diver makes perfect sense! I picked a swimmer because I figured he'd also have the right body for it, broad shoulders and muscle-y but still quite thin, not as bulky as Neph or Kunz. Plus his short hair. Diving is definitely a good idea!
