FACE/OFF 2
Being a huge fan of the movie FACE/OFF I was delighted by the news that Hollywood returns to this story but at the same time I was upset because it’s going to be a reboot.
I always dreamt to see a continuation of the original film and that’s why I tried to deliver my own version of the sequel to Neal H. Moritz but failed.
Now I'd like to share my story with you and get your opinion about my work. And excuse me for my English, I'm still learning.
STORYLINE
Sean Archer has grown Adam Hassler (son of Castor Troy) like his own child. Now Sean is retired and Adam followed in his footsteps and works for the FBI.

A special mindset and crime genes allow Adam to successfully catch dangerous criminals. His new target is the untraceable world-class terrorist named Ares.

During the hunt for Ares, Adam catches Enio - the right hand and girlfriend of the terrorist. She refuses to cooperate with the FBI. Following the order, Adam places her to a secret prison.
In the prison Adam accidentally meets Castor Troy and forgotten memories from his childhood resurface in his memory. Adam recalls how Sean Archer (actually Castor Troy) killed his uncle and mother and tried to do the same to him but Castor Troy (actually Sean Archer) saved his life.
Forgotten memories of Adam
Adam doesn’t know anything about face-changing operation because all the information on this case is classified. He tries to get details of his past from Sean. Archer keeps silence and for the best of reasons hides from Adam who his real father is.
Adam goes to Castor and hopes to find out the truth. Troy realizes that his son is his only hope to regain freedom. He pretends to be a victim and ‘confirms’ that it was Sean who destroyed their family.
Adam helps Castor simulate death and gets his body out of prison. Then he arranges a meeting between Troy and Archer which ends badly for Sean.
Castor swears that he wants to atone for the sins of the past and promises to help Adam in his work. In fact he wants to eliminate all rivals and clear the way for himself.
'Saint' Castor Troy
Troy gathers the team, finds Ares, takes his face off and then secretly from Adam transplants it to Sean. In addition to this, Castor also deprives Archer of the possibility to speak.
Ares in his turn receives Archer’s face and with honors goes to the grave.
So Sean who has Ares’ face now is in prison and Adam’s career is skyrocketing thanks to Castor who regularly supplies him with most wanted criminals.
In prison Sean meets Enio. She quickly realizes that there is another person in front of her and real Ares is dead.
Enio wants revenge on Castor for the death of her lover. She teams up with Sean and together they make a daring escape.

Being wanted, Sean and Enio go through many incredible challenges and get to Castor who has regained the title of king of the underworld and got the whole army of mercenaries.
By this time Adam finally finds out the truth. Castor wants to see him on his side and tries to sell the idea that the apple never falls far from the tree. But Adam chooses Archer’s side.
Close to the finale the real war begins. During the shootout Sean gets a fatal wound while protecting Adam from Castor's bullet.
After the death of Sean Adam confronts his father but when the critical moment comes he can't pull the trigger.
Castor laughs at Adam's weakness and reproaches him for not being worthy to be his son. Troy is going to kill Adam but Enio saves the situation and sends Castor to hell.
By law Adam is obligated to return his Savior to prison but he decides to let her go.
In the end Adam is going to leave the FBI but first he steals from the evidence warehouse two golden pistols that belonged to Castor. Then he gets behind the wheel and sees Troy's face in the reflection of the rearview mirror.

Adam sharply turns back - there is nobody there. All that remains is the main question, who is Adam after all: Archer or Troy...
