Spring is here!

Today spring has finally come to my city! It's warm (it's all relative!), sunny and the snow can't melt fast enough. :D

I keep meaning to say, but I keep forgetting: I've stopped automatic payments to Livejournal, because I don't want to pay for two journals. That means that as of June 1, my LJ will be a free account, with all that entails. I'll keep cross-posting, of course, but I'll direct comments and such to Dreamwidth instead, in order to keep everything in one place. You can comment on DW whether or not you have an account there. My DW friendslist is a bit of a mess at the moment, so if you do have a DW-account or want to subscribe to there via Open-id, please do so. Of course I'll try to do my best to find everyone, as well. And if anyone is interested in getting a DW-account, I have a few invites left. Let me know!

Yesterday, I watched a part of a preair of SyFy's Riverworld which airs in April. I only watched part of it, because, well, it was complete crap. Seriously, I couldn't stand it, it was so stilted, childish and people talking with fake, bad accents. It was frankly laughable, at times. It looks cheap and is just generally not good and I can recommend everyone skipping it. :(

Finally, another installment in the one-hit wonder countdown; this time a Swedish artist called The Plan. This guy, Theodor Jensen, is one of several guys stemming from the legendary, very, VERY emo group Broder Daniel (this is a really great song, btw). For instance, Håkan Hellström has had a particularly successful career. For me, they all have a very particularl way of singing which only works in certain songs (such as the above two), with a lot of energy and passion. In slower songs, not so much. Anyway, this is The Plan - Let's Leave. A fantastically epic song, truly great. A terrific detail is the banjo, and, of course, the trumpets and whatnot.
