Wherein robots write slash
First, two SPN story recs. Two long, beautiful, intriguing stories. There's nothing better than really long stories of very, very high quality. Those are always the ones that matter the most to me.
Swear By All Flowers by sweetestdrain - another story dealing with Russian folklore, and with Dean's impending doom. Great plot and so much beautiful emotion and Sam/Dean angst.
And the Highway Lines Pass By by philalethia - more Dean is dying soon and Sam is feeling desperate. Such a wonderful story. And again, long and not too plotty. I love plot, but I prefer it when the main plot is the progression of Sam & Dean's (or your pairing of choice) relationship. Where side plots work to push that forward. Because that's why I'm reading slash stories, after all. And not, actually, for the porn. *g*

Haven't watched that bonus episode of SGA yet. I don't like watching stuff on my computer, but I can't find a simple way to convert the wmv-file to a reasonably sized avi-file (because my DVD player can't do wmv-files, sadly enough). Anyone have any tips?
Mad Men is getting a second season! Yay! I forgot to say before, while discussing tv, but Mad Men is definitely one of my favourite shows right now. It's so fascinating and mellow and completely engaging. Again, you should ALL be watching this. Seriously.
As you should Weeds! I love this fantastically politically incorrect show to little pieces. I'm so glad they manage to keep the cheekiness up all through season three as well. Bloody brilliant is what it is.
Journeyman seemed intriguing at first, but then turned a bit eh. It seemed too ... neat.
Bionic Woman. Eh there too, I'm afraid. Too much posing. It's like they're trying to be stylish, but it all seems contrived.
Reaper is actually kind of funny. If a bit pointless.
But I am a little wary at judging a show on the basis of the first episode. Look how that turned out with Supernatural. I may never have watched it again! And where would I have been today then? Bereft!
On that note, have the boys really not taken any new promo pictures for season three? Or what? Are they that low a priority for the network? Or are they simply too busy... ?
