Always read before you sign

And you know what? Don't just read it, really think about it. Just because it doesn't sound that hard on paper doesn't mean it's not going to be rough when you put it into practice. Theory is always easier than the reality. Take my word for it.

Things have been so nuts around here the past couple of weeks that I completely forgot about my birthday tomorrow. I sorta wanted to go to Vegas with Jerry to celebrate, it's the big three oh after all, but things kinda got away from me so I guess that's out. Maybe next year. Now I'm thinking that instead maybe we'll just drag the guys out for some heckle bowling. Or karaoke. Just make sure I'm drunk enough that Jerry's singing won't be too grating ;)

Last night I went out with a really sweet girl. Julie. Chili Cheeseburgers at Tommy's. We had a blast. Of course, I ended up wearing more chili than I ate but hey, I've never claimed to be like neat or anything *lol*. We hung out at Santa Monica Pier and did the whole carousel/ferris wheel thing and really had a blast. It was nice to hang out and just not have to think about work or contracts or fucking roses or anything else for a while. Definitely a cool night.

And it looks like my bro and the elf are throwing a party on Saturday. Since I get to play bartender I reserve the right to invite as many of my lame friends as I want. So consider this an invite. Anyone hanging out in LA this weekend, drop on in. Booze is at my place.
