I'm working on some more paladin-oriented things as well. I like them far too much. Roland, why did you have to be so beautiful?

this is crossposted all the hell over the place.

I wrote this on the way to to work today:

My attention strays off to rest

beneath the yellow flowers
that grow in the ditch

on the side of the tracks
that guide my train

over the water
that ripples by the path

into the commonwealth
that contains the roads

around the buildings
that cover the brown earth

below the asphalt
that has a few cracks

through which grow

Yellow flowers.
